Peter Dietrich

Based in Hamburg and Barcelona Peter started out as a creative director. He loves to dive into a variety of cultures when behind the lens as a director. His commercials are a seamless blend of surreal action, observational humour and photographic composition.

His work is multi awarded, including EPICA Paris, Golden Award, New York Festi-vals, Golden Award Montreux, Grand Prix at ERMIS AWARDS, Caples Award New York, ADC Germany, 10 of his commercials have been featured on SHOTS. 2016 he was ranked No 1 director worldwide according to Best Ads On TV. 2018 he shot a branded entertainment project which has been ranked number 4 amongst the most viewed commercials on YouTube. In January 2020 he has been ranked No 7 director worldwide in Lürzer’s Archive.

Peter co-curated two exhibitions about soccer influenced art and shot a related shortfilm which has been aired in Swedish TV, MTV Spain and Italy. It has been screened on the EXPO 2010. In the same year it won an award at new media shorts in Shenzen, China.

His talent kept him busy shooting spots for brands like Mercedes, Ford, Skoda, Fiat, Renault, Volkswagen, Vodafone, Orange, Carrefour, Panasonic, HP, Sony, T-Mobile, Nivea, Mc Donald’s, Bosch, Die Bahn, RWE, Vereinsbank, Sparkasse, Raiffeisenbank, Burger King, RTL, SAT1, Mexx, Mars, Sprite, Sierra Tequila, and Snickers.
